Morgan is an Editor, Author and Actor who lives in London.

  • As an Editor, Morgan has worked at Penguin Random House UK across Vintage and Transworld (alongside Penguin General). Her non-fiction experience spans popular science, political and social commentary, health and wellness, cookbooks and narrative memoir. She has collaborated with acclaimed literary authors as well as genre writers in sci-fi/fantasy and crime/thriller.

  • She is also a freelance copyeditor for HarperCollins, IOP Publishing and others, with an Advanced Copyediting certification from The Publishing Training Centre. Previously, she worked at Bloomsbury Academic on titles in Literary Studies, Drama, Film & Media, History, Theology, Philosophy and Classical Studies & Archaeology.

  • As an Author, Morgan is signed with A.M. Heath Literary Agency and holds an MA (Distinction) in Creative Writing and Publishing. She has taken part in Arvon retreats, Guardian masterclasses and other leading literary programmes. She has published three novels under a pseudonym and has recently finished her latest manuscript which is now being prepared for submission to traditional publishers.

  • As an Actor, Morgan is a member of Spotlight, a former member of the National Youth Film Academy and is currently represented by BTA®. She has feature roles in Something Wicked and Table for Two (scene here), with further projects filming this year. She recently worked as Saoirse Ronan’s stand-in for Bad Apples, directed by Oscar-winner Jonatan Etzler. She has also appeared as a Supporting Artist in productions with Netflix, Universal Studios, New Line Cinema, the BBC, Channel 4 and more.

At the centre of her work is a fascination with storytelling in all its forms. She writes speculative crossover fiction that shines a light on modern society: think Black Mirror with an “uplit” optimistic twist. She also writes high-concept, contemporary and science fiction. As an editor (and reader), she is drawn to highbrow non-fiction across social sciences, astrophysics, evolutionary biology, philosophy and political/cultural commentary; gritty literary fiction that showcases original voices; and genre fiction with a strong hook, sustained tension and vivid characterisation. Her work under her own name differs from the crime/thriller novels published under her pseudonym, Elizabeth D. Bell, listed below.
